Personal Data We Process

We only process information that we need to provide you with the best service on our transportation marketplace.

  • Account Details:Contact details, name, phone number, and e-mail address. For some services, we may require your home address.
  • Profile Information:Your profile picture and saved addresses.
  • Customer Service Data:Correspondence records when you engage with the app chat or calls with our customer service agents.
  • Trip Data: Trip updates, journey start times, time, and passenger ratings from driver feedback.
  • Payment Information:Amount charged and payment type used.
  • User Conduct Data:Data about your conduct as assessed by drivers.

Purpose of Processing

We process your personal data to provide and improve our services, including:

  • Connecting You:To connect passengers with drivers so you can be picked up or dropped off, or to show you where our nearest available vehicles are located.
  • Facilitating Trips:To show geo-location data and the phone number of passengers to drivers when ride-hailing to enable efficient pick-up and drop-off, and to make the journey transparent.
  • Ensuring Safety:To ensure user safety and promote compliance with our terms and conditions.
  • Resolving Disputes:To address feedback and resolve disputes through customer support.

Geo-location Data

We collect geo-location data to facilitate your trip, including where you need a ride from, the location of nearby service providers, the time, and the final destination of your trip.

This data is collected only when the Beba app is activated. The collection of geo-location data stops after closing the Beba app.

Sharing of Information

Personal data is disclosed to drivers whose order has been accepted, including the driver's name, vehicle, phone number, photo, and geo-location-related information.

Data Retention

Data retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the reason for its retention, with some data being retained for 3 years, 7 years, or even 10 years in certain cases.

Amendments to This Policy

We reserve the right to update our policies at will to better the services we offer or as advised by the law. A notice will be put on the app or sent by email to drivers/car owners.
